Dentists are spending more of their time doing more non-clinical "stuff" than ever before

Days that used to be spent “producing” are now spent dealing with insurance companies, lawsuits, other doctors, partners… and yes, marketing. You probably even have a special button on the phone system for each of these (okay, not lawyers, but you get the idea).

Family dinner at 6pm turns into TV dinners at your convenience. Thursday “date night” gets switched with preparing for staff meeting and making website updates. Sunday’s relaxation has been replaced with external marketing. Rinse, lather, and repeat…
